Make Sure Your Itinerary Has Breaks Built in.

Make sure your itinerary has breaks built in.

How many of us have returned from a busy, whirlwind vacation only to need another vacation to recover? A lot of us, right?

Build breaks and rest times into your daily itinerary, whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or part of a larger group, it is important to have times for quiet rest. I like to build three standard breaks into itineraries, where the only goal is to relax and breathe.
I like to think of breaks in three parts: Breathing, hydration, and stretching

Sit and breathe deeply and comfortably for a few minutes, then drink at least 8 ounces of water, and finally, stretch to reinvigorate your body, and allow you to continue with your day.

Before dinner, you might enjoy taking 15 minutes to lie down and relax, resting your eyes, and exhaling completely with each breath/ You will be amazed by how much more you enjoy the rest of your activities and excursions when you insert regularly scheduled breaks into your itinerary!
